Who doesn’t love a delicious cocktail when they’re on holiday?
If you like to try new and exciting drinks, then you’ll be happy to hear that WORLD CLASS, the largest mixology competition in the world, will be coming to Azamara Club Cruises. Between 4 and 9 July 2013, the final of this super exciting cocktail competition will be held onboard Azamara Journey!
The final is set to provide fantastic entertainment onboard Journey, with 50 different bartenders vying for the top prize, they will need to use all their creativity and showmanship to win over the judges. The winner will scoop the title of Diageo Reserve WORLD CLASS Bartender of the Year.
The event will feature some of the biggest names in the cocktail and bar industry, including Dale DeGroff, Peter Dorelli, Salvatore Calabrese and Gary Regen. Other media figures will be present, plus numerous bar owners and movie stars and actors. Other activities during the event are cocktail testing challenges and talks from insiders about the industry itself.
The cruise is chartered to sail along the French Riviera in Nice and Monte Carlo and then make stopovers in the beautiful locations of St. Tropez and Ibiza. The final point of call is Barcelona.
