Cruises for Kids Continued…

Norwegian Cruise Line‘s Epic is another fantastic ship for families, with a casual atmosphere which allows parents to choose their own dining times and venues according to what suits them best. There is an excellent program of kids clubs which will keep children entertained all day long. As well as the usual activities, kids can play around on the interactive light-up dance floor – just like they are in Saturday Night Fever!

There is a games room/nightclub on deck 16 for teens and babysitting services for mums and dads which run late into the night.

Facilities onboard the ship include a theatre, a rock climbing wall, a climbing cage, bowling alley, water park and a staggering FIVE pools!

This post wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Disney Cruises who are particularly excellent at creating a magical holiday experience for younger kids. The latest ship in the fleet, the Disney Dream does this perfectly.

The Disney Dream was built for kids and as well as having all the usual kids clubs and activities on offer, there is a spectacular Pirates of the Caribbean themed party held onboard the ship, as well as the opportunity to watch reruns of Disney movies all day long in the theatre (even I like the sound of that!).

The decor and make up of the Disney Dream creates magic for kids on it’s own so you can rest assured that children of all ages will have a ball on this ship.
