What Does Ship Christening Involve?
The iconic sixties glamour model cracked a bottle of champagne over the bow of the 182 passenger river liner at its berth in Amsterdam earlier in the month. The Emerald Sky later embarked on its maiden voyage which saw it cruise up the Rhine on a five night journey to Basel, Switzerland. The christening marked the initiation of the company’s first river cruise vessel with the second liner scheduled to set sail in mid-May.
