Royal Caribbean to expand Oasis-Class Dining Options

0

Great food is all part and parcel of the cruising experience, and when you’re at sea for a few days, you don’t want to be restricted in choice.  Royal Caribbean International understand this, which is why they’ve chosen to enhance the onboard dining options for the Oasis-class part of their fleet.

Refurbishments:

Up first is Serenade of the Seas, she’ll be undergoing the “Royal Advantage” refurbishment, ready to emerge from drydock in December with a bunch of new speciality restaurants. Lucky passengers can dine at “Giovanni’s Table,” “Izumi” and the fabulous “Chef’s Table” experience.

Dining Packages:

Travellers will be able to enjoy the “Royal Choice Dining Package” which includes dinners at Chops Grille, Giovanni’s Table and Izumi for USD $55 per guest, or as a fabulous treat why not get all of the above AND the ‘Chef’s Table’ intimate dining experience, with the ‘Chef’s Table Dining Package’ for just USD$130.

Sailing as part of a group? Groups of eight or more will be pleased to hear that there’s a specialist “Set Sail Dining Deal” devised exclusively for large parties. This includes dinner on the first night of their holiday at ‘Giovanni’s Table’ for USD$14 per person. Bargain!

Exclusive Wine Tasting Course:

Passengers will really enjoy the exclusive ‘Lafite Wine Tasting Experience’ which is also rolling out onto the Oasis class ships, in partnership with Domaines Barons de Rothschild.  For between USD $23-25 depending on the ship/itinerary, you can enjoy wine tasting and experience some great wines from Bordeaux.  The wine tasting experience will be led by the Royal Caribbean cellar master, who will educate you in the wines, the winemakers, their history and what foods they’d accompany best.

And that’s not all!  Each guest will get a fun souvenir package, which will include winemaker’s notes and recipes.

Currently, the wine tasting experience is available aboard Allure of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas And Enchantment of the Seas.

Look forward too…:

Izumi:  Izumi serves delicious Japanese food, including sushi rolls, Hot Rock Plates and plenty more too.

Giovanni’s Table:  Sample tasty Italian home cooked food in this family-friendly restaurant, which specialises in the well-loved, traditional dishes of Tuscany.

Seafood Shack:  Fancy sampling the catch of the day?   Crack open some shellfish and sample some great seafood in the Seafood Shack!

Chef’s Table:  Enjoy an exclusive, intimate service from your very own chef – what a treat!
