Ovation of the Seas – Royal Caribbean

On April 17 Royal Caribbean will launch Ovation of the Seas, a 4180 passenger ship that marks the third addition to its Quantum class series. The ship oozes the line’s trademark ‘WOW’ factor from bow to stern, with passengers set to enjoy state-of-the-art entertainment, transformative venues, reimagined staterooms and of course, the all new Dynamic Dining experience. The Vitality Spa will be a mecca for passengers in search of rest and relaxation while on-board activities such as the RipCord by iFly will have adrenalin junkies in a frenzy.

The ship will call Australia home, with Gavin Smith, regional vice president for Royal Caribbean, Asia Pacific maintaining that the ship marks a new epoch for Southern Hemisphere cruising. “Royal Caribbean has been breaking the boundaries in Australian cruising since we arrived in 2007 but today, we have completely changed the face of the cruise industry, making the single largest investment in Australia by any cruise line,” he says. “Ovation of the Seas will completely redefine the idea of cruising in Australia, taking the industry to the next level by offering a host of incredible never-before-seen features and technologies. This demonstrates our belief in, and long term commitment to, the Australian cruising market.”
