Norwegian has revealed it will offer free drinks on all Norwegian Sky sailings from next January – in a bid to boost bookings during the busy winter cruise period.

NCL, which currently operates thirteen vessels, will include free alcoholic drinks as part of the fee for all bookings made aboard Norwegian Sky – one of the line’s most popular cruise ships.

The cruise line has said passengers can enjoy unlimited beer, wine and premium spirits aboard Sky, up to a value of $11 on sailings made after January 2016.

NCL are renowned for their Freestyle Cruising concept, which means there are no set meal or dining times – something they claim offers passengers complete flexibility.

Andy Stuart, president and chief operating officer of Norwegian Cruise Lines, said: “We’re taking Freestyle Cruising to the next level to provide our guests with an experience unmatched by any other contemporary cruise line.”

Provided they’re between the ages of 3-20 years, passengers can enjoy unlimited sodas and juices throughout their cruise.

Norwegian Sky provides three and four day sailings from Miami to the Bahamas all-year-round.
