If It’s Good Enough For Katie Holmes (and King Julien!)…

Katie Holmes and her lovely daughter, Suri, have already been onboard the fabulous Allure of the seas, enjoying a tour of the ship’s 16 decks. With big plans for the cruise liner over the coming months, including a live performance onboard from Taylor Swift in January, this ship is really making a name for itself, especially as it has only just launched!

Royal Caribbean have outdone themselves with their latest ship, creating not only the biggest cruise liner in the world, but also one of the best. The Allure of the Seas has a wonderful presence and atmosphere and Royal Caribbean are determined to make the ship extra special and a little bit different from others in the Oasis class.

The cruise line have teamed up with production company DreamWorks, bringing some of their most loved characters to life onboard the ship. As well as the much publicised introduction of Shrek on the Allure of the Seas, you may also bump into puss in boots, Po from Kung Fu Panda, or the penguins and King Julian from the fantastic Madagascar films.

With the excitement of sharing your ship with such characters, you would think Royal Caribbean wouldn’t need to put much effort into entertainment elsewhere…. however this is far from the case. In the Allure of the Seas there is a multi-million pound theatre with huge broadway style productions being hosted almost every night. There are also 17 bars and cafes, 20 restaurants, and numerous smaller entertainment venues hosting comedians and other one man acts.

Allure is not only one of a kind in terms of it’s size and stature, it is also one of a kind in terms of its facilities. Royal Caribbean have really raised the bar with this ship, I can only imagine what their next cruise liners will be like!
