European Waterways’ Announce 2015 ‘Journeys of Discovery’

Luxury hotel barge river cruise specialists European Waterways have revealed their ‘Journeys of Discovery’ programme for 2015 in a newly published brochure.

Tours will take in nine different European countries including Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Scotland, England and Ireland.

Accommodating between six and twenty passengers at a time, the fully crewed fleet of 18 luxury hotel barges will take in some of the most beautiful inland waterways in Europe, including unique offerings to locations such as Eiffel’s Briare aqueduct above the River Loire, the Arzviller Boat Elevator and the Malpas Tunnel.

The river cruises will allow guests sample high quality regional dishes and fine wines.

Featured are a series of 6 night World War One commemorative cruise trips on the 12-passenger La Belle Epoque, due to visit locations such as Flanders and the Somme.

Longer cruises are also available, with journeys through Holland, Belgium, France, Germany & Luxembourg, including trans-regional voyages for the more adventurous of holidaymakers.

Typically river cruise voyages include all meals, selected wines, an open bar, daily escorted excursions, local transfers and use of all onboard facilities such as bicycles and spa pools.
