Holidays are a time for letting your hair down and enjoying the finer things in life – like a flute of crisp champagne, or a delightfully-aged scotch. If you’re looking to enjoy these finer things, whilst sticking within a budget, why not look out for an all-you-can-drink package available on many cruise itineraries?

Here we take a look at some of the very best all-you-can-drink packages from our favourite cruise lines, helping you enjoy a glass (or two) of the good stuff.

Seasonal Offers

Cruise lines often offer seasonal all-inclusive drinks packages for limited times only. These change regularly, but you can often find great deals no matter what time of year you want to set sail.

Norwegian Cruise Lines All Inclusive Drinks Package

Opt for Norwegian’s Free at Sea package to enjoy a free Speciality Dining Package, which includes a free Premium Drinks Package, giving you complimentary drinks ship-wide for the entire cruise!

Royal Caribbean All Inclusive Drinks Package

Royal Caribbean offer an all-inclusive drinks package for adults as well as children. The Royal Select Beverage Package for adults includes beer, wine by the glass (up to the value of $8), and Fountain Soda soft drinks, as well as non-alcoholic cocktails. Kids can enjoy unlimited Fountain Soda drinks and get a souvenir cup too with the Royal Refreshment Soda Package.

Celebrity Cruises Free Drinks

Celebrity Cruises are offering a free classic drinks package worth up to $900 per person! Every drink, no matter which bar, lounge or restaurant, is on the house.

It’s a good idea to shop around for the best seasonal all-inclusive drinks offer, as they represent better value for money than the drinks deals which are available all year round, and often include add-ons such as free internet and spending money.

Permanent Drinks Packages

Norwegian Cruise Lines

Norwegian offers two beverage packages which are available on all ships. For $59 per person per day, the ‘Corks and Caps Package’ includes a selection of beers and wines by the glass (up to $15), as well as fountain soda and juices. For $79 per person per day (plus 18% gratuity), the ‘Ultimate Beverage Package’ also includes spirits and cocktails (up to $15) on top of the beers, wines and soft drinks.

From 2016, the Norwegian Sky cruise liner is now providing all-inclusive dining, entertainment, and unlimited beer, wine and premium spirits to all guests!

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity Cruises was ahead of the trend when it came to drinks packages, introducing them back in 2009. There are a wide range of packages available with Celebrity, starting from just $18 per person per day for classic non-alcoholic drinks.

If you’re looking for something a little stiffer, the Standard Package, at $45 per person per day, includes beer, wine and cocktails up to the value of $6 per drink, as well as 10% discount for wines bought by the bottle.

The Classic Package, at $55 per person per night, includes soda, juices, coffee and tea, non-premium bottled water, beers up to $6 each, spirits, cocktails and frozen drinks up to $8 and wine by the glass to a value of $9. You can also enjoy 15% off wines by the bottle.

The Premium Package, at $65 per person per night, includes everything in the classic package, plus premium bottled water, smoothies, and all beers, spirits, cocktails and wines up to a value of $13. With this package, you’ll get 20% off bottles of wine.

Princess Cruises

For $56.35 per day, you can enjoy all cocktails, spirits, beers and glasses of wine up to $10 with Princess Cruises’ drinks package. This also includes all soft drinks, as well as mocktails and shakes. Tea, coffee and espresso is included with the coffee card, which also lets you sample crepes and gelatos too! What’s more, you’ll get a 40% discount on all bottled wine under $100.

MSC Cruises

Choose from Standard or Premium drinks packages on MSC Cruises. Prices vary depending on whether you’re cruising in the Mediterranean or Caribbean, but both include drinks from all on-board bars, lounges and restaurants, apart from the speciality restaurants where you’ll get 20% discount on drinks instead. Both packages include beers, wines and soft drinks, with the premium package also including spirits and cocktails, as well as items from the on-board Gelateria and Pastry Shop.

Most cruise lines now offer drinks packages, which are a cost-effective and easy way of budgeting for your beverages while on a cruise holiday.
