The team behind Celebrity Cruises know that the company could not have become so successful without the help of their valued travel partners.

Travel professionals are vital in helping bring holidaymakers to Celebrity Cruises. They provide a very high 80% of all Celebrity Cruises’ bookings and are an indispensible part of the company’s operation. So in light of these successful collaborations Celebrity Cruises has recently honoured some of its best travel partners. The agencies deemed to be the top companies working with Celebrity Cruises have been awarded with the title of Partner of the Year. There is one winner in each major region, and the highest honour has gone to three agencies which were pronounced the overall winners.

The lucky winners of the top honours were AAA Allied Group, which was named 2012 Overall Field Sales Partner of the Year. The 2012 Overall National Accounts Partner of the year was won by Avoya Travel, which has built up a reputation for expertise and attention to detail in handling holiday bookings. Several travel agencies were named 2012 Partner of the Year, including Crucon Cruise Outlet, which aims to provide the lowest price guaranteed for all its customers. Continuing Education/University at Sea won the Partner of the Year Award in the Southeast Region and World of Travel took this in the Central Region. The winner from the Northeast Region was Crown Cruise Vacations, CAA Quebec took the honour in Canada and Worldview Travel won this in the West. Cruise Inc. Dana Ceglenski was named Inside Sales Account of the Year, and Buy the Sea won Corporate Sales Account of the Year. The top three awards were officially bestowed on the winning agencies during presentation ceremonies led by the Celebrity Cruises’ executives held at each travel agency office.

“The incredible energy, drive and passion of the people of our three overall winners is just extraordinary…These agencies are outstanding at service, innovation, and most of all, matching the right guests to our modern luxury vacations.”

— Dondra Ritzenthaler, Senior Vice President, Sales, Celebrity Cruises.
