Carnival Glory is now back and in service after an extensive program of new renovations

Carnival Glory’s renovation is part of the cruise line’s successful multi-million renovation project, Fun Ship 2.0, a program which is running across the whole fleet.  A similar transformation is currently underway on Carnival Destiny too.  Destiny will also get a new bar, fab restaurants and a bunch of new activities onboard.

The new features on Carnival Glory (and the other ships receiving the Fun Ship 2.0 makeover) are certain to significantly improve passenger experience and make cruises with Carnival even more exciting and unique.

The New Features on Carnival Glory:

The new features installed in the renovation of Carnival Glory include a range of new bars, restaurants and exciting activities. In terms of restaurants, Carnival Glory now has a selection that will make anyone’s mouth water. For example, the well-known Food Network personality Guy Fieri has developed a fantastic new burger restaurant, Guy’s Burger Joint. This is located poolside and serves the most delicious and fresh burgers. But if you like something with a little more spice, then the BlueIguana Cantina is perfect for you. This is a free of charge cantina which serves a variety of tacos and burritos that customers can personalize to their own specifications.

The bars on Carnival Glory are equally enticing as the new restaurants. The RedFrog Rum Bar is a great Caribbean-themed venue, and if you want a relaxing atmosphere and want to sample high-quality rums and beers this is the venue for you. But for something a little more refined, The Alchemy Bar is worthy of a visit. The bar is known as a cocktail ‘pharmacy’ and it lives up to this name! Passengers will be able to sample a variety of delicious cocktails created by expert barmen. Other bars include the EA SPORTS Bar, which houses video games and live action sports. If you want to keep up to date with your favourite sports then this bar caters for your needs. And for passengers who are looking for a bit of dancing and a lively atmosphere, the BlueIguana Tequilla Bar is certainly worth a visit. Alongside the electric atmosphere the bar has unique drinks, including frozen cocktails!

Finally, the entertainment on Carnival Glory is nothing short of fantastic. The Punchliner Comedy Club & Punchliner Comedy Brunch provides top comedy acts alongside great mid-morning food. What’s definitely not to be missed is Hasbro, The Game Show, which will bring back treasured memories by bringing classic board games to life! And the spectacular Playlist Productions promises to be a visual sensation, incorporating LED staging, live performances and amazing special effects!

The Cruise Itinerary:

After a short three-day cruise from Miami to Nassau the winter cruise program for Carnival Glory will launch from 18 November. There are some iconic destinations on the program. Carnival Glory will reposition to Boston in June 2013 in preparation for short four and five day voyages to Canada. Following these voyages the ship will depart to New York for four to seven day Canada/New England departures during October.
