Leading digital cruise magazine Bon Voyage celebrated its first birthday in business earlier this month and marked the special occasion with its debut Editor’s Choice Awards. As expected, Disney Cruise Lines blew the competition out the water and went home with an impressive collection of gold, silver and bronze crowns. Best Mainstream Line was the most prestigious achievement, with Best for Multigenerational Families, Best Mainstream Cabin, Best On-board Evening Entertainment, Best Services for Children Under 3 and Best Services for Children Age 3–12 also making an appearance in Disney’s trophy cabinet!
“There are some exciting things going on in cruising right now, so we wanted to reward the lines that are really upping their game,” said Sherri Eisenberg, Bon Voyage Editor-in-Chief in an interview with Yahoo Travel. “The awards are an opportunity to explain our recommendations to readers in a very definitive way.”
