Third sister Eclipse unique for Celebrity Cruises

0

Celebrity Cruises’ latest Solstice-class ship, ‘the Eclipse’, sports a few differences from her sisters, although just as stunning inside and out as the Equinox and the Solstice. Full of big, public spaces and a sweeping grand staircase, an obvious design change to familiar passengers, the new ship also sports a ‘hip’ feel and adjusted colour template.

Some superb features of the vessel for passengers include among 10 dining options new alternative restaurant, Qsine – complete with iPad menus and ‘interactive food’, a hot glass show, and a half acre lawn club. Not only that but with the most up to date music in Quasar night club, the casino and the show lounge, night times are well catered for. The show in the Martini Ice bar ‘Crush’ courtesy of the Celebrity staff is sure to entertain, and guests can draw and write their names in the ‘frost’ on the stainless steel counter tops, adding a new layer of entertainment to onboard cocktails.

Even more Apple products can be spotted in the Celebrity iLounge among the galleria of shops, a highlight of Celebrity’s new partnership with the technology giant. Trained staff can also teach potential Apple buyers how to use products before purchase.

Celebrity are advertising the Solstice-class state rooms as 15 percent larger than the rest of its fleet and in Eclipse, as in the Solstice and the Equinox, all are equipped with Samsung flat screens. With an enormous amount of storage space the stateroom bathrooms are also worth a mention.

All in all this ship is engineered to make it feel like there aren’t another 3,000 passengers around, and the onboard crew deliver a service worthy of much higher-priced cruise vessels.
