If you follow news and developments in the cruise world you won’t have missed Royal Caribbean’s fantastic revitalization program. Since 2011, Royal Caribbean have spent millions of dollars upgrading their fleet, taking the most popular features from their Oasis-class and installing these on their other ships. The revitalization program will improve passenger experience and is sure to enhance customer satisfaction.

Serenade of the Seas is just the latest ship to go through the revitalization program. After spending 29 million dollars, the ship is now equipped with even more amazing features, including new restaurants, bars and great activities.

One of the stand-out new restaurants is Chef’s Table, an exclusive dining experience that is co-hosted by the executive chef onboard. With its private setting, exquisite food and specially paired wines for each course, this represents an unforgettable eating experience. But if something lower-key is your thing, then the Park Café’s more casual environment with its great range of food is worth a visit. If you try their delicious sandwiches and soups just once, you’re sure to return time and time again. Other high-quality restaurants onboard Serenade of the Seas include the Italian Giovanni’s Table, and the Japanese restaurant Izumi Asian Cuisine. For those looking for a lively atmosphere, you can’t beat Rita’s Cantina for great Mexican fare and cocktails! As you can see, the revitalization program on Serenade of the Seas means there’s something for everyone onboard.

Other great additions to Serenade of the Seas include the Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, which is designed for 6-36 months old and provides a very safe environment for your children when you need this. For adults, the Crown and Castle Pub is a great place to grab a drink and take in the homely atmosphere. Now onboard there is a Diamond Club for passengers who are members of the Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program. And perhaps best of all, suite guests can now take advantage of a concierge service! Other new venues include the 1960s R Bar, and one of the attractions that is sure to draw crowds are the amazing high-flying acts that will take place during the day in the ship’s transformed Centrum.

The ship’s staterooms have also been upgraded during the revitalization program with new flat television screens installed in the rooms. In addition, passengers will be able to use Wi-Fi at any place on the ship and a large LED movie screen has been installed on the pool deck.

Following these successful changes on Serenade of the Seas, during 2013 to 2014 similar revamps will take place on Royal’s vision-class and voyager-class ships. Less extensive improvements will also be made on the ships, Independence of the Seas, Enchantment of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas.

The revitalization program carried out by Royal Caribbean will definitely further cement its reputation as one of the best cruise lines in the world. With even more choice on offer these new changes should attract even more holidaymakers to their cruise packages. Royal Caribbean is certainly raising the bar in luxury cruising and making a serious challenge to its competitor lines.
