Earlier this week, Norwegian Cruise Line released the first rendered images of their upcoming ship, Norwegian Escape.
Norwegian Escape is Norwegian Cruise Line’s latest addition to the fleet – or at least she will be once she’s built. Before the building process began last year, the company had undertaken months of planning, researching and designing. Today we can take a look at some of that hard work, as the company have released a number of digital renders showing the final designs for the luxury cabins and suites that will be built and furnished onboard Escape over the coming months. Take a peek at the gallery below:
Escape will feature a variety of new and exciting spaces, including:
- The signature luxury ship-within-a-ship complex, known as The Haven by Norwegian
- Studio rooms, designed and priced for solo travellers
- Spa cabins, for spa enthusiasts
- Group cabin options for families
Escape’s cabins and suites will retain many of the innovating features developed for the company’s two most recent ships, Breakaway and Getaway. The latter ship has only recently launched in the last month.
In a statement put out by the company, CEO Kevin Sheehan said:
“The stateroom offerings on Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway have been so well-received that we wanted to be sure to continue to offer such a rich mix of accommodations on Norwegian Escape.”
He added:
“On Norwegian Escape, we will have an optimal mix of accommodations, offering something for every type of guest whether it be solo travellers, families or those seeking the ultimate in luxury and pampering.”
About The Haven by Norwegian:
The Haven by Norwegian on Norwegian Escape will offer 95 ultra-luxurious exclusive suites across a two-story area that’s only accessible via key-card. There are also exclusive spa treatment rooms, a sun deck and a sauna for Haven guests to enjoy.
In the suites, luxury comfort is provided as standard with pillow-top mattresses and fine linens from The Bliss Collection by Norwegian.
Haven guests also get access to a range of other perks, including: priority embarkation and disembarkation, a personal butler and concierge, in-suit coffee machines, gourmet treats delivered to the door, plush bathrobes, slippers, towels and much more.
About Norwegian Escape:
Norwegian Escape is currently under construction in Germany, and she is slated to make her debut in October 2015.
A second 4,200-passenger ship is currently being built too, named Norwegian Bliss. She is set to debut in Spring 2017.
Both ships will form part of the new ‘Breakaway Plus’ class, and are described as being 10% bigger than the current Breakaway class.
