With just a year until the maiden voyage of the Norwegian Escape; Norwegian Cruise Line have announced a few of the ship’s features and dining options. Comprising of some of Norwegian’s signature features as well as unique amenities; the Escape will offer a fun blend of the old and the new.
A three-level atrium, outdoor dining and entertainment centre, 678 Ocean Place, are amongst the highlights of the upcoming ships. The casino aboard the Norwegian Escape will be the largest in the fleet, covering a massive 19,000 feet. Within the large-scale casino is Skyline Bar, where guests can enjoy a drink whilst trying their luck at video poker.
The Escape will benefit from a ‘new for Norwegian’ private dining area. The Private Room at Taste, complete with its own entrance, lounge, and dining area, offers private dining for up to 100 passengers.
Signature restaurants – Moderno Churrascaria, Cagney’s, Le Bistro, Teppanyaki and O’Sheehan’s will all return to the ship, spanning Decks 6,7 and 8, and spilling out onto the outdoor area: Waterfront. Additionally, the main dining rooms on Norwegian’s Breakaway Class of ships, Taste and Savor, will return alongside the Manhattan Room on Deck 7.
Three bar areas – Prime Meridian, Mixx, and the Bar at the Atrium – will also make welcome returns to the Norwegian Escape.
Another new feature aboard the Norwegian Escape will be the portrait studio, located on Desk 6.
The Norwegian Escape is due to debut in October 2015, and the line is expected to announce more details, features and dining options for the ship in the coming months.
