It has been announced by Norwegian Cruise Line that three new “legends” will be performing in their “Legends in Concert” show, starting from the end of September 2010. The new legends are Britney Spears, Rod Stewart and Michael Jackson. The Legends in Concert shows has been a staple on the Las Vegas strip for more than 25 years now. It is an extremely popular show and one which Norwegian Cruise Line are very proud to have aboard the Epic.

Britney Spears will be portrayed by Katy Draper, who has been part of the famous Legends in Concert show since 2006. Katy has always dreamed of singing and dancing for her career, and as luck would have it, she landed the part in the show thanks to her great singing voice and popstar looks. Katy has performed on the Ellen Degeneres show previously and has also toured in Las Vegas, Missouri and Atlantic City.

Playing the part of Rod Stewart is John Anthony, a performer, entertainer and musician who has long been performing his tribute to Rod Stewart. John Anthony has an amazing ability to imitate the famous voice of this particular legend. He has been on tour with his act in hundreds of cities across America and Canada, and has even spent time performing in Japan. His performance is well known for being one of the best tribute acts around.

Likely to be one of the most popular Legend acts of all is William Hall, playing the part of Michael Jackson. Since Jackson’s death in 2009, there has been a whole new wave of appreciation for his music and performing talent. William Hall hopes to give Jackson fans a taste of what it would be like to watch Michael live by performing his tribute act. William has had a remarkable career to date and has even performed with Diana Ross. Amazingly, he also performed at Michael’s father’s birthday party in 2004.

With these new additions to the show, it is likely to be very popular with guests onboard the Epic and so it is essential that you book to go to the show as quickly as you can! There are six 45 minute shows on a seven day cruise, so don’t forget to book if you want to avoid disappointment.
