Celebrity cruises Solstice Class Fleet are widely known for being exceptionally well designed, providing unbeatable service, spacious guestrooms, awe inspiring dining and the industry-first Lawn Club. However, the cruise line is also taking steps to showcase their efforts to reduce the brand’s carbon footprint.
Celebrity are committed to reducing emissions, reducing water consumption and increasing energy efficiency and recycling on their ships. They are about to launch a new onboard program, called “Oceans Ahead” which is a series of presentations about the innovative ways in which the cruise line is trying to play it’s role in helping to solve global warming.
The presentations will be both informative and educational, but at the same time very engaging to ensure the interest of their audience.
Celebrity has always invested in environmental projects, including marine conservation and innovative technologies. Over the years, they have contributed over $11-million, which is why many eco-friendly travellers choose to cruise with this particular line.
The new presentations will include topics such as onboard recycling and information about how power is generated onboard. Attendence is optional and there will be no charge for the presentations. Celebrity hope that there will be a big take up from people wanting to learn more about how they are doing their bit.
