Carnival Miracle Revamped with Passenger Favourites

0

Carnival Cruise Line’s US$500 million refurbishment program is well underway, with Carnival Miracle the latest vessel to be treated to ‘Fun Ship 2.0’ features. From March 7-21 the 2,124 passenger Spirit class cruise ship will undergo a two-week-long dry dock that will see this ship decked out with an array of long-running passenger favourites.

Below are four of our top picks!

  • RedFrog Pub

With its laid back vibe and lively atmosphere, RedFrog Pub is a one of Carnival’s most popular venues. Tap your toes to the sounds of live bands, tantalise your tastebuds with Caribbean cuisine and cool off with the venue’s signature brew, ThirstyFrog Red.

  • Alchemy Bar

If you’ve got a taste for adventure you’ll love Carnival’s whimsical Alchemy Bar. A team of expert mixologists whip up some spectacular vintage-themed cocktails and alcohol free elixirs using an inventory of unique ingredients.

  • Seuss at Sea

Since its launch Seuss at Sea has quickly emerged as one of the cruise industry’s most celebrated entertainment programs. His timeless stories captivate the whole family while on-board character parades, interactive storytelling, arts activities and character breakfasts bring the entire fantasy world to life.

  • Playlist Productions

Adding to Carnival Miracle’s outstanding entertainment options will be four new Playlist Productions shows – 88 Keys, Heart of Soul, 80s Pop to the Max and Getaway Island.

  • Hasbro: The Game Show

Featuring classic Hasbro games with a 21st century twist, Hasbro: The Game Show pushes passengers to the edge. Teams compete for some fantastic prizes and are guaranteed a night full of fun, laughter and a little friendly competitiveness.

The refurbishment program

Launched in 2011, Carnival’s multi-million dollar program has been used to revamp 12 of its fleet members. Carnival Miracle is next on the list and will see the investment breathe new life into the 11 year old vessel. Mark Tamis, Carnival’s senior vice president of guest operations revealed that the line is “really excited that the Fun Ship 2.0 product enhancement program that began rolling out three years ago continues to bring innovative, fun and memorable dining, bar and entertainment options to the entire Carnival Cruise Line fleet and to the millions of guests that sail with us annually.”

Carnival Miracle will continue to be based in Long Beach, California and operate year-round itineraries.
