There are some serious contenders out there but for your eating pleasure, we’ve narrowed down a list of the best burgers on the high seas. Enjoy!
Carnival Cruise Line
We’re kicking things off with Carnival because the line has managed to secure legendary Food Network star, restaurateur and best-selling author Guy Fieri to develop an exclusive burger bar. With its laid back Californian surfer-theme, super fresh ingredients, crispy hand cut fries and 80/20 ground-chuck meat, Guy’s Burger Joint takes the concept of patties and buns to a whole new level. Don’t forget to try the famous Donkey Sauce while you’re there! And if you’re feeling creative why not hit up the toppings station and build your own burger?
Royal Caribbean
The team at Royal Caribbean know passengers LOVE their burgers which is why the line offers several Johnny Rockets outlets across its fleet. The world famous institution flips up old favourites and exciting new creations alike! Passengers wanting to go all out can add on chilli fries, a shake and an apple pie for dessert. Even at sea, Johnny Rockets is still the original, and the best!
Holland America Line
As well as treating yourself to a luxurious filet mignon burger at the high end Pinnacle Grill restaurant, you can also take advantage of the on-the-house menu at the Dive-In at the Terrace Grill. Here all burgers are hand-formed, served on freshly toasted brioche buns and garnished with a dollop of the venue’s top secret sauce. Our favourite is The Cannonball which is brimming with Gouda cheese, Applewood smoked bacon and sweet caramelised onions. Delicious!
Crystal Cruises
On-board the Crystal Symphony passengers can hit up the Trident Bar & Grill for freshly made 100% beef burgers, as well as wonderfully healthy veggie alternatives. We love the option of choosing sweet potato fries and can’t get enough of the laid back vibes.
Norwegian Cruise Line
Looking for something fancy? At Cagney’s Steakhouse Norwegian Cruise Line serves up mouth-watering Wagyu Beef Sliders accompanied by juicy caramelised red onions and a crunchy apple celery coleslaw, plus the option of gourmet truffle fries.
