6 Days of Anthem of the Seas – DreamWorks Experience

4

Again we turn our attention to the younger members of the family holidaying on the Anthem of the Seas. One of the highlights for any young holidaymaker on the newer Royal Caribbean ships will be enjoying the line’s partnership with family movie specialists DreamWorks. The DreamWorks Experience gives kids (and big kids) the chance to meet their favourite characters from films such as Shrek and the Penguins of Madagascar.

With every ship, the DreamWorks Experience seems to get bigger and better, and we expect the launch of the Anthem of the Seas to be no different.

Meet the Stars

The DreamWorks Experience includes the chance for guests to meet the characters from their favourite DreamWorks movies with Shrek and Fiona, the Penguins and Alex of Madagascar, and more making their way around the ship. Tableside visits are also available upon request, giving guests the chance to meet the stars during breakfast, lunch or dinner.

On Board Entertainment

DreamWorks Animation’s latest release, How to Train Your Dragon 2, is currently playing on board all the ships in the fleet which offer the DreamWorks experience. The film follows on five years after the original with the dragons living as peaceful companions amongst the locals of the Viking village of Berk.

Selected sailings will also screen the Shrek movies, giving the family a chance to relive the magic in glorious 3D.

Live shows and entertainment are also featured to keep the younger members of the family happy and entertained during days at sea. Kids are also invited to join the stars of the movies in the fantastic parades which wind their way through the ‘streets’ of the ship.

    Hi Belinda,
Having read your article I can only assume that you have not actually been on Anthem of the seas.
I have and I can tell you that there is NO DreamWorks experience on-board.
RCI have been emailed by numerous people asking why they advertise Anthem as having DreamWorks on-board they claim a printing error and has miraculously disappeared from their websites.
We are a little disappointed with RCIs lack of understanding to the 1000’s of people that have been on her to find no Shrek.
    We expect better from RCI.

Your article describes the Dreamworks experience on Anthem Of The Seas. This isnt on this ship, only on Quantum Of The Seas. Royal Caribbean withdrew plans for Dreamworks on Anthem in May 2014.
