Featuring an all-around glass shower suspended over the edge of the ship!
Celebrity Cruises are really proud of their newest development – The newly created ‘Reflection Suite’ which boasts over 1,600 ft sq and has a 194 ft sq veranda on board their Celebrity Reflection ship. It will be the first two bedroomed suite on Celebrity’s fleet and boasts a stunning sea view bathroom and a relaxing rain shower. The lucky occupants will have access to a 24/7 butler service, which is shared with the other Signature Suites.
Intrigue has been rife as to how guests privacy will be maintained with the suspended glass shower. Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, Celebrity’s Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations, explains :
“We made a big investment in ensuring our guests can enjoy the shower entirely free of any concerns of being seen. They can enjoy breathtaking sea views while discreetly showering, courtesy of the shower’s special reflective glass. But, if they seek even further privacy, the shower also features ‘smart glass.’ At the flick of a switch, guests can activate electrochromatic technology which instantly transforms the glass from transparent to translucent. We even went so far as to install a special sensor, so if guests prefer, the glass can be automatically transformed for them. It’s yet another example of the modern luxury experience that only Celebrity delivers.”
The shower will be located on the corner of the ships 14th deck to give the impression of floating above the ocean.
Alongside the Reflection Suite will be the new “Signature Suites” which offer 441 sq ft of stateroom with a 118 sq ft veranda. With full length, wide view windows and doors, each suite will have its own stunning view of the ocean.
The whole of the suite area is access only with a cardkey issued to guests staying in the elite suites. This offers an ideal opportunity for an extended family or up 26 friends to enjoy the six suites and share the luxury of a 24/7 European butler service.
In addition to this suite area, Celebrity Reflection will also have a further 34 new AquaClass suites. These are being located on an additional deck that is being built to enable each suite to offer 300 sq ft of luxurious living space, each with 79 sq ft of veranda. This whole area will have exclusive access to the new highly recommended restaurant “Blu” with its modern design and its menu of delicious healthy food. Of course, the addition of 24/7 butler service will make all guests feel that bit extra special. Alongside these new AquaClass suites, there will be 8 new Sky Suites, 19 Concierge class staterooms and a further 11 inside staterooms which will mean a total of 1,515 luxury cabins on board.
Celebrity Reflection arrives in Amsterdam on 12th October 2012 and will be setting off on its nine night cruise to Barcelona.
