For a while there, talk of the Titanic Memorial Cruise from Azamara Cruises had quietened and a few of us were wondering if it was actually going to go ahead. Well, it is with great pleasure that I can tell you that it is indeed going ahead and from the 7th of April, you will be able to buy tickets for this once in a lifetime sailing.
The cruise will last for eight nights and will depart from New York on the 10th of April next year. It will take place on the fabulous Azamara Journey and you will be able to enjoy a selection of lectures about the Titanic onboard, learning all about the ship and it’s sorrowful story.
The Balmoral cruise ship is also going to be running a memorial cruise in honour of the Titanic and on April the 15th (the anniversary of the sinking) both ships will meet at the site of the disaster for a memorial service.
It is expected that tickets for the Azamara sailing will sell out extremely quickly. Tickets for the Balmoral cruise have already sold out, and there is a waiting list of people hoping that someone will cancel! So if you would like to take part in this amazing memorial cruise, you should book your tickets asap to avoid disappointment.
