One of the most talked about features of the brand new Quantum of the Seas vessel from Royal Caribbean is the stunning Bionic Bar – complete with robotic bartenders with skills to compete with Cocktail-era Tom Cruise.
The world’s smartest and most technologically-advanced ship is jam-packed with great features – but we are most excited about the prospect of robot-mixed cocktails (although this may say more about us than the new ship).
And if you can’t wait to get on board and experience the bar for yourself, we’ve got a sneak preview of the Bionic Bar right here. Check out the timelapse video below to whet your appetite for a delicious cocktail.
Quantum of the Seas is the first ship to feature this spectacular technology – although it looks set to be rolled out to her upcoming sister ships. Her little sister, Anthem of the Seas, is set to take to the open waters early next year and is expected to feature her own Bionic Bar.
Despite being only a couple of weeks old, Quantum has proved to be a roaring success. Incredibly popular with holidaymakers and earning rave reviews from critics, Royal Caribbean are looking likely to add extra ships to the Quantum Class.
If you’re struggling to figure out exactly what to order from the Bionic Bar, check out our list of the 10 Best Cocktails to Enjoy on a Cruise.
