Celebrity Cruises have announced that they will be building upon the success of their Solstice class ships by “solsticizing” another three vessels in their fleet. The Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Summit and Celebrity Millennium are the three lucky ships which will be receiving the makeover.
The solsticizing will begin in November and is set to take a total of just five months for all of the ships to be completed. Highlights of the updates include the addition of AquaClass accomodation, as well as the accompanying Mediterranean-themed restaurant called Blu. The Celebrity iLounge will also be added to the ship, and the Qsine speciality restaurant will give diners yet another option at meal times.
The makeover of these three ships will help to tie the whole fleet together for Celebrity, and will no doubt go down well with fans of Celebrity Cruises who have been very pleased with the solstice class ships so far.
As well as the features mentioned above, a few other additions that will be coming to the Infinity, Summit and Millennium include:
– Bistro on Five (creperie)
– Martini Bar and Crush
– Geletaria
– Cellarmasters wine bar
– Contemporary art
