The Celebrity Constellation has now officially been “Solsticized”, getting a total revamp with the inclusion of many popular venues from the Celebrity Solstice.
Added to the Constellation, was a Tuscan Grille steakhouse, a Bistro on Five, an ice-topped Martini Bar, a Vibrant creperie, a Geletaria, a wine bar and a Cafe. Many of these venues also appear on the Solstice and have been extremely popular with guests, especially the state of the art wine bar. The Cellarmasters wine bar allows guests to help themselves to wine, serving out the perfect amount at the touch of a button.
The communal areas of the ship, including the restaurants and bars have had upgrades, ranging from new furniture to brand new flatscreen television sets.
The rooms have also been revamped, with new bedding and brand new carpets. Seats have been re-upholstered and old televisions have been replaced by more modern, flat-screen versions. The look and feel of the new staterooms is very similar to the classy, stylish look and feel of the Solstice staterooms.
The Constellation is the first ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet to be “Solsticized”, however it won’t be the last! Celebrity Summit, Infinity and Millennium are all scheduled to have a makeover, with the Infinity and Summit being ready in 2011 and the Millennium in 2012.
Guests booked to embark on a cruise on the Constellation will no doubt be incredibly excited by the revamp, giving guests the feel of a brand new ship without the price tag that often accomponies it!
