Strictly Come Dancing goes to sea with P&O Cruises

Love Strictly?  Love cruising?  Then this will be an unmissable cruise!

Strictly Come Dancing is one of the smash TV hits of recent years. It has become increasing popular since its inception in 2004 and in 2012 the show managed to beat the usually dominant X Factor in the ratings war, managing to cement its place as the favourite Saturday night programme. With intricate dance routines and fierce competitions between the celebrity contestants, the show has proved engrossing viewing. And so it will excite many P&O passengers that the cruise line has announced that the Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood, alongside several of the show’s dancers, including James Jordan, Natalie Lowe, Pasha Kovalev and Kristina Rihanoff, will join seven P&O cruises in 2013.

From May to October 2013, and only onboard select cruises to Europe, the Strictly personalities will light up the stage and provide amazing entertainment. Craig Revel Horwood will be onboard all of the seven special Strictly Come Dancing themed cruises, and each will have two of the professional dancers. With enthralling dance routines with everyone’s favourite moves like the samba, rumba, foxtrot, quickstep, jive and many more, the whole audience will soon get into the dancing mood. Finally, guests to the spectacular show will be able to see the carefully crafted costumes worn by the dancing stars during this year’s series. All the Strictly Come Dancing themed cruises depart and return to Southampton.

About Craig Revel Horwood:

Craig Revel Horwood is best-known as the ill-tempered judge on Strictly Come Dancing. He can always be counted upon to give a stern critique in often acerbic terms. Horwood has had a long career as a dancer, choreographer and theatre director in the United Kingdom. He has directed the choreography for numerous West End shows, such as Spend Spend Spend, My One and Only and West Side Story. Horwood has been a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since its opening season in 2004 and quickly became the toughest judge to impress. Aside from Strictly Come Dancing, Horwood can be seen on various other TV programs, particularly on comedy and panel shows.
