Royal Caribbean have announced that they will be offering an exclusive package for couples who want to get married at sea, in honour of the Royal Wedding which will take place later this month. The package commemorates the big day and is available to purchase through December 2011. As well as wedding packages, the cruise line will be offering vow renewal ceremonies and prices start at as low as $2,904 which by todays standards is a pretty affordable wedding!
Royal Caribbean have also recently launched a honeymoon registry, allowing family and friends of the couple to put money towards their dream honeymoon cruise – something which more and more people are looking into now that it is common for couples to co-habit before they wed.
It seems that the Royal Wedding has really got Royal Caribbean in the mood for romance, and they have also announched that their full fleet of ships will be broadcasting the wedding live, so nobody has to miss out on the celebrations. No doubt there will also be plenty of parties and feasts going on onboard too!
The wedding package offered by Royal Caribbean Cruises includes (among other things) an onboard symbolic wedding ceremony, a tiara for the bride, a rose bouquet, strawberries and champagne, dinner at the captains table, a wedding planner, photographer and a beautiful tiered wedding cake.
