Royal Caribbean Release More Harmony of the Seas Details

With only about 8 months until her launch, Harmony of the Seas has managed to keep many of her features and amenities a secret. Whilst Royal Caribbean have flirtingly revealed that the new largest cruise ship in the world will incorporate both Oasis and Quantum Class features, the specifics have remained under wraps. Now however, Royal Caribbean has gone public with their plans for the new mega-liner, releasing the official brochure.

New Features

The ship will include a new of new features and entertainment venues – fitting for the world’s largest cruise ship.

The Attic is a brand new comedy club which will be serving up laughs courtesy of the best comedians on the open seas. The venue will be located in the Entertainment Place neighbourhood of the Harmony of the Seas.

Following the huge success of the Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine restaurant aboard the Quantum Class ships, Royal Caribbean has decided to increase its size and capacity for the next generation. Guests aboard the Harmony of the Seas will be able to enjoy the multi-sensory cuisine in a two storey restaurant with similarly unusual and unique design.

Royal Caribbean also offer Royal Suite Class for the first time ever, treating guests to 24/7 butler service, all-inclusive beverages, complimentary high speed internet, access to the Vitality Spa thermal suite and much more.

And perhaps the first new features that guests will notice are the new water slides spiralling above the top deck of the ship. This is a brand new venture for Royal Caribbean, demonstrating their dedication to younger guests. The three multi-story slides are to be known as The Perfect Storm: Cyclone, Monsoon and Typhoon.

Quantum Technology

Despite being a member of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class of ships – the Harmony of the Seas will benefit from a number of the features and technologies debuted on the Quantum and Anthem of the Seas. The ever-popular robot bartenders of the Bionic Bar are back shaking up your favourite cocktails with skill and precision.

The RFID bracelets, WOW Bands, will also be available. These handy little items can be used instead of the SeaPass to help guests make purchases and enter into their stateroom. Additionally, the Royal IQ smart phone app is available for download to simplify the process of booking shore excursions, evening meals and seats in the theatre and other entertainment venues.

Royal Caribbean have undoubtedly got a few more tricks up their sleeve – and we will endeavour to keep you updated as-and-when these are released. For more information, call our friendly sales team on 0808 2746 777.
