Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas will be hoping for a Magical Mystery Tour when it leaves Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades on 3rd March 2013 for a seven night Beatles cruise. The trip will stop off in the ports of Jamaica, Mexico and Haiti.
Headliners of the show, Revolution, will perform several times during the cruise. This Beatles tribute band will represent their heros in mannerisms and sound and guests can enjoy being swept back to the heyday of the Fab Four. In addition, the band are booked for a private party for VIP guests on the Beatles Cruise.
In addition, Mark Hudson, Ringo Starr’s former producer will be joining the cruise, to share his stories about working with The Beatles, Aerosmith, Celine Dion and Ozzie Osborn amongst others. Mark loves doing these cruises with Royal Caribbean to indulge in a little relaxation, and an interlude in his hectic schedule.
Billy J Kramer is a Liverpudlian legend and Brian Epstein knew what he was doing when he gifted him some Lennon & McCartney songs. Billy made a fantastic job of them and is currently working with his band on a new CD. VIP guests will be able to purchase personally autographed copies on the cruise.
Joey Molland was a guitarist and singer from The Iveys who were signed by The Beatles Apple label back in 1968. John Lennon took an interest in the band and Paul McCartney wrote and produced their four consecutive worldwide hits. You may not think you remember them, but you’re sure to be singing along with his tunes.
You’ll need to take the opportunity to brush up your knowledge of all things Beatle before you join the cruise. Joe Johnson, host of the Beatle Brunch radio show, will entertain the audience with his Beatles Trivia quizzes. He will be interviewing the special guests and asking them your questions.
