Romance on the Seas: Royal Caribbean’s Look of Love

The upcoming ship from Royal Caribbean, Anthem of the Seas, looks set to be one of the most romantic vessels on the seas with a number of amenities, activities and itineraries suited to loved-up couples. Here we take a look at the features set to make the Anthem of the Seas the perfectly ship for a romantic cruise holiday.

The Royal Experience

One of the first cruise trips the Anthem of the Seas is set to take in is the Royal Experience, a romantic three day cruise to Paris and Bruges. The short break to the capital of love (and beautiful Belgium) is the perfect trip for couples looking to spend a little private time together. The holiday is a true royal experience with guests being treated to a great selection of complementary extras and drinks.

Virtual Balconies

The Anthem of the Seas will be a part of the first class of Royal Caribbean cruise ships to benefit from virtual balconies, making it cheaper than ever to book a room with romantic seascapes and beautiful views. Available in inside-cabins, the virtual balconies are 80-inch high definition screens which project a live stream of the view from the exterior of the ship, meaning you won’t miss a thing. Lay in bed and watching the world go by on the gentle and romantic Anthem of the Seas.

NorthStar Observation Pod

If the view from your room is not enough, the Anthem of the Seas offers incredible views from within their NorthStar Observation Pod. The viewing pod extends 300ft above sea level to offer incredible views across the seas and foreign lands. Whilst trips on the NorthStar are complimentary, romantic bookings can be made in advance to ensure you and your loved one can enjoy the experience at dusk or dawn to watch the sun rise or set.

The Solarium

For parents looking for a bit of adult time away from the children; The Solarium is the perfect place to escape. The adults-only relaxation and pool spa is complete with a number of splash pools and Jacuzzis offering panoramic views across the sea. The Solarium also plays host to a health-conscious bistro where you and the loved one can enjoy some guilt-free culinary delights courtesy of Head Chef Devin Alexander.

Dynamic Dining

Allowing guests to set their own timetables and eating times, the Dynamic Dining feature aboard the Anthem of the Seas lets passengers pick when and where they eat. If you want to eat in a quiet restaurant, simply wait until the busy eating times have passed and you will be able to enjoy the delights of the ship’s skilled chefs without interruption or disturbance. Take as long as you like as you linger over dinner, enjoying each other’s company.
