Beginning next year, Regent Seven Seas will become the first cruise line to offer unlimited free internet access to selected passengers. Guests staying in selected suites aboard the fleet will be able to browse the net and emails without incurring a charge.
Passengers in the Master, Grand, Seven Seas, Horizon, Mariner, Navigator and Voyager suites will all have access to the limitless browsing whilst cruising with Regent Seven Seas.
Additionally, guests in the Penthouse and Concierge suites will be given limited free access to the internet. These guests will be treated to 200 free minutes on a seven night journey or 500 free minutes on a journey last more than 16 nights.
The cruise line company has recently completed a huge upgrade of internet connectivity throughout their fleet, at a cost of a few million dollars. The company hope this will help support consistent fast connection to the internet, becoming the first cruise line to offer this service for free.
Regent Seven Seas have long recognised the importance of top quality internet access for the guests, offering unlimited free access for gold members and above of their Seven Seas Society loyalty scheme.
This is timely news for Regent Seven Seas, following Royal Caribbean’s revelation about more than half of holidaymakers improving their holiday experience with the aid of the internet.
