About Quantum of the Seas:

Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas is the first vessel in the new “Quantum Class” section of the fleet.

The new and innovative ship offers a mixture of thrilling “world firsts at sea” and classic features that people love.

Here are some of the new features holidaymakers can look forward to:

SeaPlex – set to be the largest indoor activity area at sea!  It will even home a regulation-sized basketball court and flying trapeze equipment.  Hungry guests can tuck into a snack from the ‘food truck’ – a first at sea!

The North Star is one of the most eagerly awaited and highly innovative offerings onboard the new ship.  It’s essentially a transparent pod that transports guests 300 meters above sea level, offering 350-degree views.  It even goes over the side of the ship!

Two70° is a fabulous new venue space, offering interactive experiences, housed in three decks of floor-to-ceiling glass.  The space promises interactive events day and night, where guests can also take in 270° panoramic views of the sea.  There’ll also be a cafe in the venue, offering gourmet casual dining options.

Staterooms onboard Quantum will be 9% larger (on average) than the Oasis Class ships (despite the ships actually being smaller).  They’ll feature modern touches in rooms, such as USB outlets.
