Daredevil photographer, Jeffrey Milstein, has managed to capture aerial shots of some of the world’s best-loved cruise ships by dangling out of a helicopter flying overhead. The New York-based photographer took shots of cruise ships from Royal Caribbean, Carnival Cruises and Princess Cruises amongst other cruise lines.
Milstein has been capturing overhead shots of aircraft more than 15 years ago as a part of a project covering birds-eye views of commercial and military aeroplanes. The photographer’s project switched its attention to ships in late 2013, capturing the details found on the top deck of some of the world’s largest cruise ships.
The images will even surprise passengers who have cruise aboard the captured ships, demonstrating the sheer scale of the vessels.
Visible atop the Carnival Sensation is the popular Aqua Park and miniature golf course.
The largely symmetrical Freedom of the Seas is very pleasing on the eyes from overhead.
The Caribbean Princess’ blue theme makes the ship looking like a moving water park with lush green gardens breaking up the pool.
Majesty of the Seas
Soon to be transferred to Pullmantur cruises, Royal Caribbean’s Majesty of the Seas still looks the part as she enters her 13th season of service.
