Norwegian Set to Feature in Travel Oriented TV Series

Known for its eco-friendly initiatives, stunning hull art and exotic itineraries, Norwegian Cruise Line has never been one to shy away from the spotlight. Now it’s taken its global fame to the next level and signed on to feature in a new TV series titled Dream Quest with Evette Rios. Every week the Dream Quest production team will sail to a new location, with Norwegian’s award winning crew members helping to turn travel fantasies into magical realities.

Andy Stuart, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line, can’t praise the team enough, saying “Each and every day, the hard working 20,000 Norwegian team members worldwide strive to make all of our guests’ dream vacations a reality across our fleet,” On Dream Quest with Evette Rios, we’ve taken our guests’ vacations to the next level, making them stars in some of our most exciting on board and in-port experiences while also making their dreams come true.”

Emmy Award-winning entertainment company Tri-Crown Production Group is backing the venture. The 30 minute slots will air on CW Network’s “One Magnificent Morning” Saturday block for 26 weeks throughout the 2015-2016 season.

From customer to celebrity

For those that have always dreamed of starring in their very own travel show, Dream Quest is an incredible opportunity. The show essentially turns everyday passengers into travel superstars, following their adventures as they cruise their way across the globe. All the way they’ll immerse themselves in an interactive learning experience designed to help both passengers and viewers learn about ocean conservation efforts.

From the Bahamas to the Caribbean, Alaska to the USA, Australia to Asia and beyond, expect to explore a multitude of different itineraries.

A stellar team of travel gurus

Peter Greenberg, one of America’s most respected front-line travel news journalists helped bring the concept to life. The jet setting deity is nicknamed “The Travel Detective” and features on a myriad of broadcast platforms. As well as showcasing the world’s most beautiful destinations he also has an inherent appreciation for the need to save the planet and conserve the world’s oceans. The hope is that Dream Quest will inspire holidaymakers to travel with an eco-friendly conscience while still enjoying all the incredible experiences a cruise has to offer.

The lovely Evette Rios has signed on to host the show, using her experience as a TV personality, lifestyle expert and mother to take families on once in a lifetime voyages. As well as enjoying the state of the art on-board facilities and destination oriented activities Dream Quest will also shine the spotlight on marine environments, animals and the ecological policies designed to preserve and protect the ocean.

Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Jewel and the all-new Norwegian Escape will all feature in the series, with holidaying families taking to the floating classrooms to receive an education unlike any other. Since launching its on-board education programmes Norwegian has received industry wide praise for its efforts to protect the world’s oceans and raise global awareness.
