Norwegian Cruise line have announced this week that they will be pairing up with SVEDKA Vodka and Inniskillin Ice wine in their stunning new ice bar. The ice bar is onboard the Norwegian Epic, and in honour of the new partnership, it will be called the SVEDKA Ice Bar, featuring a range of icey, cold drinks.
The bar was inspired by the original ice bars and hotels seen in Scandinavia. It is the first ice bar ever to be installed on a cruise ship and is one more unique feature of the Epic. The lighting will be spectacular, using blue, green and purple LEDs to resemble the Northern Lights. The bar, walls, tables, chairs, glasses, and sculptures in the ice bar will all be made from Ice. Passengers choosing to drink at the bar will be given warm, hooded coats and a pair of gloves to keep them warm in the chilly environment.
The cost of going to the ice bar onboard the Epic cruise ship is $20 per person which includes two cocktails. The bar will be fairly small and select, accomodating up to 25 people so reservations are essential. You can reserve a place in the ice bar anytime from 5:30pm to 10:30pm.
Svedka Vodka is a premium brand of vodka, distilled five times, it is one of the most pure types available. All drinks served in the ice bar will be served in ice glasses, and children will be catered for too, with non-alcoholic cocktails on offer.
