Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Cruise Line’s most innovative ship to date will have the largest spa and fitness facilities at sea totalling over 31,000 square feet.
The Mandara Spa will have twenty four treatment rooms, two Rasual steam rooms, a DIY Scrub Experience, Hydrotherapy Courtyard and Thermal Suite along with with two private couple’s villas, fitness centre and barber shop.
For those who really want to indulge and try new spa experiences will have a host of wonderful treatments available.
Rasual steam rooms: To detoxify the body using different coloured Chakra muds which are massaged into specific areas of the body. These are then washed off by a cascade of warm tropical rain water to leave the body relaxed, ex-foliated and super smooth.
DIY Srub Experience: The on board spa specialist creates a personalised scrub using sugar or salt combined with herbal blends which can be used during the Rasual steam rooms or other treatments. Each personalised blend soothes muscles, ex-foliates away dead skin to leave a smoother and polished glow to skin.
Epic Signature Spa Treatments: The new spa treatments and services available on board Norwegian Epic is the Epic 24 Karat Gold Facial. Offering the ultimate in luxury the facial uses a blend of herbal plants, rose quartz and 24 karat gold leaf mask which speeds up cell renewal as well as giving a brighter nad more clarified skin texture.
Bamboo Massage: This warm and soothing massage uses bamboo shoots soaked in essential oils to aid either deep tissue muscle massages or more gentle massage techniques to relieve tension and soothe aching muscles.
These are just a few tasters of what’s available within the spa treatments, each offering cruise passengers a truly indulgent way to de-stress and de-toxic in real style.
