When she takes to the seas in 2016, the MS Koningsdam will have the biggest selection of cabin and suite choices aboard any ship in the Holland America Line fleet. The ship will host HAL’s first ever solo and family accommodations, opening their doors to a wider range of guests than ever before.
Comprised of 1,331 guest cabins with a capacity for 2,650 passengers, the MS Koningsdam will retain the familiar Neptune, Signature and Vista staterooms alongside the new accommodation options. However, the familiar suites will be available in a wider selection of sizes and configurations than on any other members of the Holland America Line fleet.
With 912, the MS Koningsdam hosts more veranda staterooms than any other member of the fleet. Holland America Line’s Rick Meadows said this move represents the company’s recognition of the growing number of multigenerational groups every year.
All suites and staterooms aboard the MS Koningsdam will benefit from Holland America Line’s signature Mariner’s Dream bed and finely woven cotton linens. Additional benefits include fresh fruit on request, plush bathrobes, flat-panel television, premium massage showerhead and other bath amenities.
The new Pinnacle Suite is a comprehensive 1,290 square feet with bedroom, living room, dining area, dressing room, private veranda and whirlpool. The two Neptune Spa Suites and 43 Neptune Suites measure from 465 square feet to 855 square feet. The 14 Signature Suites measure up to 400 square feet and the 104 Vista Suites range from 260 to 356 square feet.
