Introducing Norwegian’s 2017 Summer Itineraries

We may be in the midst of winter, but that doesn’t stop us from dreaming about sun kissed beaches, sultry summer nights and beautiful green landscapes of far-flung destinations. Norwegian Cruise Line is keeping the winter blues well at bay, with the line recently revealing a sneak peek at its 2017 itineraries. With Alaska, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Canada and New England all on the cards, 2017 is shaping up to be one seriously spectacular year.

“Guests sailing on Norwegian Cruise Line in Summer 2017 can explore the world through a variety of cruises to spectacular destinations, all while enjoying the freedom and flexibility that only a Norwegian cruise can offer,” explained Andy Stuart, Norwegian Cruise Line’s President and COO.

Norwegian debuts four fabulous new fleet members

With a quartet of brand new ships at its disposal, Norwegian will be offering its passengers even more choice and extravagance that ever. “Guests can feel free to cruise to the best of Bermuda and the Bahamas on four beautiful ships, including the recently refurbished Norwegian Gem, or experience the scenic beauty of Alaska on some of the youngest ships in the industry,” adds Stuart.

Come summer 2017, Norwegian will base three of its ships in Alaska. Together, Norwegian Pearl, Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Sun will sail to stunning destinations such as Glacier Bay and Sawyer Glacier, as well as Vancouver, British Columbia and Seward. Calls include picturesque Alaskan towns like Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Icy Strait Point, with the ten-day ‘Ultimate Alaska’ voyage from Seattle to Vancouver showcasing the very best of the region.

Searching for sunshine

In search of sun, sand and sea? In 2017 Norwegian Gem will take off on seven day ‘Bahamas and Florida’ cruises that offer passengers all out beach bliss. Think family friendly visits to Orlando, as well as calls at Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau. Hello summer! For something a little shorter, Norwegian Sky will be whisking passengers away on whirlwind three day Bahamas voyages.

Canada and New England also steal the spotlight in Norwegian’s 2017 itinerary plan, treating passengers to a myriad of destinations across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Maine and Quebec City. Perfect for those in search of chic cities and breathtaking scenery alike!
