For discerning travellers in search of a stylish and high end cruising experience, Princess Cruises is always ready to deliver. This year the line has been shining the spotlight on offering passengers unique food and drink opportunities, and the exclusive Wine Maker’s Dinner is a part of this commitment. Intrigued? Read on for a sneak peek at what’s being poured by Princess sommeliers.
The dinners take place in the Symphony and Concerto dining rooms, the line’s private spaces reserved exclusively for VIP guests. Interior décor is inspired by the warm hues and fluid lines of wine cellars. Think gleaming woods, bottle lined walls, metallic accents and ambient light. The circular areas set up to 12 guests for a wonderfully intimate vibe.
As well as sampling the line’s finest wines diners will also be treated to five star cuisine developed in conjunction with noted winemakers. Together the chefs and sommeliers have created unique dishes designed to complement each individual drop. The classic carved meats are guaranteed to delight, with dishes such as crown of veal rack, lamb Baron and veal rack a l’Orlov all making an appearance.
When it comes to celebrating special occasions or finding the perfect venue to host a private at-sea function, the Wine Maker’s Dinner experience is just the ticket.
As a VIP experience the Wine Maker’s Dinner does require a small cover charge of $40. But for the unique experience received in return, it’s well worth the investment. Book and pay at the passenger reception desk.
