Next week, P&O cruises will be hosting GMTV onboard the fabulous Ventura cruise ship. As the show search for Britain’s hidden culinary genius, four contestants will be battling it out in “Chefs at Sea” to be crowned the winner.
With Claire Sweeney hosting the show, and TV chef Marco Pierre White judging the live final, it is likely to be an extremely popular show, giving P&O some extra publicity over the summer season.
The finalists, whohave been chosen by viewers of GMTV, will be hopping aboard the Ventura on the 24th July for a week long cruise visiting ports such as Lisbon and Vigo. From 7am – 9am each morning, the show will be broadcast live on ITV.
Rosemary Shrager, a television chef superstar will be mentoring the contestants and making sure they bring their all to the finals. They will be taken through a series of challenges and tasks on board and on shore, pushing them to their limits and giving them their chance to shine and show everyone what they are capable of.
Other passengers onboard the cruise will also be given the chance to get involved as they are allowed to vote for their two favourites in a “cook off” on the ship. These finalists will then be going head to head in a live grand finale, being judged by Marco Pierre White as well as the Captain of the ship.
The winner will be going on a caribbean cruise with their family, as well as getting the chance to have a private cookery lesson with Marco Pierre White himself.
