The Royal Caribbean cruise ship which holds 2,252 guests is one of the finest in the fleet and offers a huge variety of onboard amenities and entertainment for families, couples and singles. The Governer of Maryland has welcomed the ship, hoping that it will bring with it more tourism to the area.

There will be various itineraries available, from New England and Canada to the Caribbean and Bermuda, no matter what your cruising tastes, there is sure to be a destination which entices you.

This year, the Port of Baltimore will be home to an astonishing 91 home-ported cruises, which is expected to have an unprecedented effect on the local economy, raising in the region of $90-million across the year. This is a huge increase from 2009, and is set to increase further as cruising becomes more popular, and cruise deals make this type of travel more and more affordable.

Royal Caribbean have long been known for providing excellent service, from a friendly crew who are always looking to help. The onboard experience is second to no other cruise line, with fine dining available across a variety of restaurants. It is hoped that the sailings from Baltimore will continue to be popular amongst travellers, opening the possiblility of the port remaining the Enchantment of the Seas’ homeport for years to come.
