Disney Cruise Line has announced it’s plans for the new 4,000 passenger ship in their fleet, the Disney Fantasy. The Fantasy is set to launch in Spring 2012, just months after the launch of their most recent addition, the Disney Dream.
As well as featuring many similar elements to the Disney Dream, there will be some new things to look out for on the Fantasy. These additions include:
– First up is “Animation Magic”. This is a dinner show which will take place in the Animator’s Palate restaurant aboard the ship and will feature Mickey Mouse himself as well as a range of other big disney characters. There will also be a fantastic rendition of “Be Our Guest”, one of the most famous and most loved songs from Beauty and the Beast.
– The next addition is “Europa”, an adults only district of the ship which is set to include several bars and lounges where adults can get away from the “Disney” of the ship (which includes the kids!!). Venues will include an Irish pub and Skyline, a bar with fantasic screened views of European capital cities.
– Aladdin is coming to the Walt Disney Theatre! Yes, that’s right, the Disney Fantasy will hold a brand new broadway style show of Aladdin which is set to wow both adults and children.
– Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – Try saying that when you’ve had a few drinks! This place is going to be just as fun as it sounds, a place where kids can go and be transformed into princesses, or pirates of the caribbean. I can’t think of many things more thrilling in terms of kids entertainment…. in fact, I wouldn’t mind a go myself!
