Cunard Announce 2018 Line-Up

Cunard Line have, this month, announced their 2018 deployment programmes for the three ships in their fleet. Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria will all travel to far-flung destinations, giving passengers the unique taste of cruising for which Cunard is famous.

Cunard’s itinerary planners place an exceptional amount of stock in ensuring their itineraries are unique and hugely enriching for every one of their guests, touring new ports, cities and nations as they criss-cross the globe. A million miles from the liners which simply put all their efforts into Caribbean journeys, the Cunard trio concentrate on culturally-intoxicating and unique itineraries.

Queen Mary 2 will be undertaking her famous transatlantic sailings between New York and Southampton. She’ll treat guests to 22 seven-night voyages, interspersed with cruises to the Caribbean, New England, Canada and mainland Europe.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth will complete a series a cruises through Northern Europe, as will Queen Victoria before the latter moves to the Mediterranean.

Ever keen to explore new routes and regions, the Cunard Line will visit 20 new ports for the very first time. The 20 new port calls include: Rockland (United States), Sept IIes (Canada), Visby (Sweden), Riga (Latvia), Klaipeda (Lithuania), Bodo (Norway), Narvik (Norway), Hvar (Croatia), Puerto del Rosario (Spain), La Rochelle (France), Gijon (Spain), Taormina (Italy), Portree (United Kingdom), Donegal (Ireland), Haugesund (Norway), Propriano (Corsica), Portoroz (Slovenia) and Rijeka (Croatia).

Richard Meadows, President, Cunard North America, enthused: “On behalf of Cunard, we are proud to announce the robust 2018 Voyage Program, comprised of exciting special event cruises and both iconic and intriguing destinations. We continue to connect our guests to new destinations while delivering Cunard’s quintessential experience of luxury on a grand scale.”

It’s not just the ports which are changing, Cunard are also offering more overnight and late stays than ever before. Listening to customer feedback, the cruise line has decided to give their guests more opportunity to immerse themselves in the towns, cities and regions visited by the Cunard fleet.
