Cruisers Get a Sneak Peak of the Epic!

Norwegian Cruise Line‘s new ship, the Epic has been the buzz of the cruise world for months now. As one of the largest cruise ships ever built, everyone in the industry is waiting with bated breath to see what fabulous features it will have. Now, everyone has the chance to take a look as NCL have just released a video of the new vessel on YouTube. After months of speculation, and small details being released here and there, this is the next best thing to actually getting aboard the ship!

In just a few weeks time, the 153,000 ton ship is set to sail for the first time with paying passengers aboard. It will come as a great relief then, that the video shows the ship in it’s very last stages of completion, almost ready to go!

The Epic promises to take entertainment to the next level, offering some superb shows and performances. As well as the Blue Man Group, there will be Legends in Concert, and both shows will be perfomed in incredible surroundings aboard the new ship. Entertainment has long been cited as the reason why many travellers choose not to cruise, however, with so much on offer, even those with the shortest attention spans will find it hard to get bored.

As well as the normal shows and performances, there will be a circus/dinner show called “Cirque Dreams” which is sure to wow guests. The show will be held in the first ever “big top at sea” and the new video shows a glimpse of the venue.

The Epic is 60% bigger than the largest ship currently in operation at NCL, and it is expected to cause waves when it is launched! It dwarves even the biggest ships from big cruise lines such as Carnival and Celebrity. This sneak peak has only made us more intrigued and we can’t wait to see the finished product!
