Cruise lovers appreciate diversity on a cruise. A state-of-the-art ship, friendly people they get along with right from the start, mouth-watering food, and exciting destinations are what make a cruise special. Guess what? This is exactly what the Weight Watchers’ 2019 cruise has to offer: tasty guilt-free meals, beautiful destinations, and delightful entertainment all on a modern ship.
MSC and Weight Watchers have been working together to bring you a one-of-a-kind cruise experience. On the 20th of July 2019, the MSC Seaview will set sail from Barcelona, before returning to the Catalan city after a seven-night journey. Nine onboard restaurants will offer delicious and exclusive meals that follow the Weight Watchers principles. That way, you can enjoy your holidays while still sticking to your points and without having to worry about preparing any meals. You will have the chance to enjoy entertaining shows and fun-filled evenings with the Weight Watchers community. The same goes for shore excursions. So, we have put together an overview of the world’s first cruise with Weight Watchers-friendly meals.
Just kick back and relax! You will get all the benefits of Weight Watchers meals without actually having to prepare any of it. Food generally plays a major role on cruises, but it is especially important on this one. Look forward to exclusive menus that are crafted to fit your personal SmartPoints. How about starting your day with a feta, dill, and tomato omelette, enjoying a lunch of chicken sauté with peppers and goat’s cheese, and dining on fresh fish like mahi-mahi? And of course, snacks, such as savoury dips, and delectable desserts, like panna cotta with fresh berries, will also be available.
Whether you are an early bird or want to have a lie-in, there are many new ways to earn FitPoints through onboard exercise. Pick an activity you like and simply join in. All activities will be taught in such a way that you can take everything with you and continue at home. Whether you will be cruising on your own or in a group, you will always make new connections within the Weight Watchers community. You will receive guidance and advice on how to achieve your goals and get the life you want in one-on-one sessions or through the Weight Watchers Wellness Workshops.
The MSC Seaview rewrites the rule book on cruise ship design, blending modern indoor and outdoor areas to connect you with the sea like never before. That means, you can enjoy the ocean view while eating!
We also want to familiarise you with the Mediterranean route that will whisk you away to some of the most amazing destinations in Spain, Italy, and France. Before your 18:00 departure, you will have plenty of time to visit all the beautiful sights in Barcelona. The following day, you can walk in Napoleon Bonaparte’s footsteps, right where he was born and baptised. After a brief stop on Corsica, you will visit Genoa on the third day. Christopher Columbus’ birthplace is not too far from Milan, so you can also spend the day in the epicentre of fashion and art. On day #4, you will spend time in another Italian destination, La Spezia. Explore the winding streets and colourful cliffside villages of Cinque Terre.
On day #5, you will travel to Civitavecchia and visit the capital of Italy: Rome. After that, the ship will take you to Cannes, where you can stroll down the seaside Promenade de la Croisette. On your last day before heading back to Barcelona, you have the opportunity to shop, relax on the beach, or simply book an excursion to the Roman ruins in Palma de Mallorca. You will be back in Barcelona on the final day, where you will have time to visit any sights you may have missed prior to the cruise.
