Celebrity will sail to all Seven Continents on 2014-15 World Tour

Last week Celebrity Cruises announced that 2014-15 will see the launch of their new initiative: “Celebrity World Tour.”

The company will be sending their ships to each of the seven continents, 245 ports of call and visiting 74 different countries in total. Further details on itineraries are set to be released over the next few weeks.

During the Celebrity World Tour a range of once-in-a-lifetime excursions will be launched too. Guests will be able to partake in a range of fantastic land-based excursions in groups of 1-15 people. The new range of excursions has been dubbed “Celebrity Exclusives.” Highlights include sailing around Mykonos on a private yacht and enjoying a special VIP hospitality package at the 2014 British Open Golf tournament.

After, Infinity will complete a similar journey, offering a 14-night voyage from Buenos Aires to Chile, stopping off at Uruguay, Argentina on the way. This journey will also sail through the spectacular Chilean Fjords too.
  • Celebrity Millennium will sail 14-night itineraries from Singapore which will make overnight stops in Bangkok, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
  • Celebrity Solstice will return to Australia before embarking on 12-night trips around the country and making stops at New Zealand too. Later in the season, Solstice will set sail to Alaska, where the ship will sail around North America, making plenty of stops in Canada.
  • Celebrity Reflection, the company’s newest ship, is to sail an 11-night round trip through the Mediterranean from Italy. Reflection will call into ports at Greece, Italy and Turkey.
  • Celebrity Summit will also join the tour, sailing on 7-night voyages to Bermuda on a round trip out of Cape Liberty, New Jersey. She will also offer one-way sailings from San juan with shops in St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Tortola and King’s Wharf on the way to Cape Liberty.  During peak season, Summit will change her itinerary, offering 14-night cruises around Canada and New England from Cape Liberty in New Jersey.

Plus…

Celebrity Cruises will invite a “Destination Concierge” on each of their 2014 routes, allowing passengers to speak to a port expert who will guide them through their land experience.
