Celebrity Increase Premium Dining Options

Celebrity Cruises have long been known for providing exceptional dining experiences onboard their ships, and the cruise line hope to improve on that reputation this year with the introduction of some new premium dining options. First of all, Celebrity plan to introduce a “Champagne High Tea”. Now I don’t know if any of you reading this have ever experience High Tea onboard a cruise ship (I suspect many have), but they are pretty fabulous. In fact, the only thing I can think of which would make it a little more luxurious and special is…. you guessed it…. Champagne!

This new dining experience will take place once on every 7 night cruise and at least two times on cruises over 8 days long. The High Tea will be held in the speciality restaurants aboard Celebrity’s ships and live music will be performed by a string quartet. As well as Champagne, guests can choose from a selection of teas (obviously), coffees and soft drinks and of course the usual delectable little treats that are on offer during High Tea. The price of all this is just $25 per person, which is not too hefty considering you get a glass of Champagne as well as your tea and cakes.

The other option to be offered by Celebrity is premium kosher meals. This is definitely an industry first although no doubt many cruise lines will follow in Celebrity’s footsteps. Among the selection of meals on offer, there is herb roasted salmon, beef brisket and citrus glazed chicken breast. There are also kosher breakfast options available, including omelettes, waffles, bagels and pancakes.

All of the options on the kosher menu are fully Glatt Kosher certified and are all made from scratch in kosher kitchens.
