Carnival Expands “All you can drink” package to more ships

Remember a few weeks ago when we wrote about Carnival’s “All You Can Drink” package, called the “My Awesome Bar Program”? We wrote how since the 5th of August, guests onboard Carnival Victory have been able to partake in the $42.95 all-you-can-drink package.

At the time Carnival’s spokesman said they were exploring the possibility of an all-inclusive beverage programme across the fleet.

We can reveal today that Carnival has now released the “My Awesome Bar Program” out to three more ships! The line quietly rolled the package out on both Carnival Splendour and Carnival Spirit in August. This month, Carnival rolled the program out onto Carnival Breeze too. This makes the total number of ships in the Carnival fleet partaking in the ‘all you can drink’ package up to four.

About the “My Awesome Bar Program”:

The package costs $42.95 per person, plus a 15% gratuity. The program includes a selection of wines, beers, spirits, soda, bottled water and non-alcoholic cocktails. However, speciality coffee is not included.

All beverages must cost less than $10 per glass for inclusion and you can only buy one drink at a time.

If you like to buy bottles of wine and Champagne or any of the expensive wines and cocktails on your cruise holiday, you’ll be pleased to hear that Carnival are discounting these by 25% for subscribers to the My Awesome Bar Program.

‘Watering holes’ onboard Carnival ships:

There are plenty of bars and pubs onboard to suit every taste.  Enjoy a pint of bitter in the RedFrog Pub or kick back and relax in The Library Bar as you take in a bit of literature with a glass of wine.

If you fancy something a little more fast-paced, why not head over to the Bluelguana Tequila Bar?  Chill out with an ice-cold Tequila slushy while sampling some tasty mexican food.

Fancy trying something new?  Head over to the Alchemy Bar and sample some of the creations from the onboard mixologists.  Will you be brave enough to try one of the “Passion Potions”?  Why not sample something from “The Medicine Cabinet”, the “An Apple a Day Martini” sounds like it should be good for your health!

Please note: not all of these bars are available on all Carnival ships currently, some will be added in future refurbishments.  It’s best to check out what’s available on Carnival’s sites, but hopefully this little list will give you a sample of Carnival’s bars and pubs!

All you can drink packages on other cruise lines:

A few other cruise lines offer all-you-can-drink packages too. MSC, Celebrity and Oceania offer packages across their fleets, while Royal Caribbean International just offer drinks bundles across three of its ships. Onboard Holland America Line you can enjoy pre-purchased wine bundles.
