Carnival Cruises have debuted their new form of onboard entertainment… it’s karaoke, but with a twist! Superstar Live Karaoke combines Karaoke and live music, with talented musicians providing thebacking for Carnival’s singing sailors. Once the crowd get going, guests can volunteer to sing with their very own live band behind them, giving them the opportunity to be superstars for the night!
Karaoke has always been a popular form of entertainment onboard cruise ships, however singing with just a backing tape will seem positively boring in comparison to Carnival’s Superstar Live Karaoke.
Anyone interested in having a go at being a superstar simply needs to sign up with the host, but make sure you get in quickly as participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, and this new form of onboard entertainment is likely to be extremely popular with both adults and kids.
There will be a huge range of music and songs available to choose from, from rock, to pop, to country or even Motown. As well as karaoke classics like ABBA, there will be karaoke tunes with a difference for those really looking to shine – a bit of Lady Gaga anyone?
Superstar Live Karaoke is fast becoming a favourite in onboard entertainment and activities as guests get excited about the chance to become superstars for a night, and to cheer on friends and family as they have their five minutes of fame.
By the end of the year, Carnival Cruises hope to have rolled Superstar Live Karaoke out to all of their Fun Ships which operate cruises lasting 7 days or longer.
